Frequently Asked Questions & Policies
This page outlines expectations, attendance requirements, exam policies, refunds, eligibility requirements, and general information to help students feel informed and prepared before enrolling.
General FAQs
No. No prior real estate experience is required. Our pre-licensing courses are designed for beginners as well as those returning to complete their license.
Yes. All courses meet Florida Real Estate Commission education requirements.
We offer in-person day and night pre-licensing courses, a self-paced online pre-licensing course, post-licensing education online, and an in-person broker pre-licensing course.
Attendance Requirements
Students may miss up to eight total hours of class time and still remain eligible to complete the course.
Attendance beyond this limit may affect eligibility to pass and complete the program. Students are responsible for catching up on any missed material.
Exams & Course Completion
A minimum score of 70 percent is required to pass all pre-licensing, post-licensing, and broker courses.
If a student does not pass the course exam, they may retake the exam one additional time or reattend one of our courses, based on availability.
If a student does not pass the state exam, they are welcome to sit in on one of our classes free of charge as a refresher, subject to availability.
Online Courses & Digital Materials
Digital flashcards are included in in-person day and night pre-licensing courses.
Digital flashcards may also be purchased separately for any online course.
In-person courses include the required textbook.
Online courses include a digital textbook, with the option to purchase a physical copy separately if desired.
Food & Guest Speakers
Food or treats are sometimes provided during in-person classes; however, this is not guaranteed or consistent.
Students are welcome to bring their own meals. A refrigerator is available on-site, and there are nearby local food options.
Guest speakers from the real estate industry attend courses on occasion to help bring class information to life. When present, guest speakers may also offer refreshments.
Post-Licensing Education
Florida requires newly licensed sales associates to complete post-licensing education before their first license renewal, which typically occurs approximately two years after initial licensure.
Post-licensing education may be completed early.
Students who completed their pre-licensing education with us may be eligible for a loyalty discount on post-licensing courses. Please contact us directly for details.
Military Discount
Yes. We proudly offer a small military discount to active-duty service members, veterans, and qualifying military family members.
Discount details and eligibility are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly prior to enrollment for verification and discount information.
State Exam Requirements
Students must complete fingerprinting and a background check prior to sitting for the Florida state exam.
We can provide resources for fingerprinting and background checks, or students may choose their own approved provider.
Eligibility to sit for the state exam with a criminal record is determined by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation on a case-by-case basis.
If you have concerns about eligibility, we strongly recommend contacting DBPR directly before applying.
General Information
Florida Real Estate Licensing Requirements
To apply for a Florida real estate sales associate license, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
- Florida residency is not required
- United States citizenship is not required
Licensing decisions are determined by DBPR and are subject to background review and approval.

Students are expected to arrive on time, participate appropriately, and contribute to a positive learning environment. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the course without refund.

Whats Comes With The Course

- Online students will get pdf & digital versions.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
If we are not notified at least 72 hours (three days) prior to the course start date, refunds will not be issued unless there is a documented critical situation.
Once a course has begun, refunds are not guaranteed and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Failure to attend, partial attendance, or withdrawal after the course start date does not guarantee a refund.
Administrative fees and course materials may be non-refundable.
Students are strongly encouraged to review schedules carefully before enrolling.
